Introduction To Anime Source Extent - Anime Extent's Blog

I decided to experiment with my ideas and developed a blog. It's sole purpose is to act as a possible successor to this site, showing relevant information that Anime Extent provides. This includes topics of discussion from a broad selection of Anime series: Bleach, One Piece, Naruto [Shippuden], Death Note, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo, and much more. I believe it has been a little over a week since I've been posting in the blog. Fortunately, my blog has already started to experience a large amount of traffic within the last two days.

The Anime Source Extent Blog preferably covers similar content to this site. However, you will find a differentiation of additional topics within its growth in the next few weeks. Once the site has been fully indexed, especially in Google, its unique hits will start increasing. In fact, I am already starting to see the results of this after backlinking to the blog directly from this site. Anyway, the blog is just something I'm currently experimenting with.

Concerning Yesterday's Unusual Load Times

I apologize to any of you who may have been on the site yesterday. It seems that the site was experiencing some serious bandwidth problems. This may have lead to longer durations of loading times for some of you who were browsing through pages. The best explanation to why this may have happened is probably due to one of those random server downtimes, which can get a bit frustrating if it lasts a while.

Anyway, I noticed that everything returned to normal shortly after 11 P.M. With that aside, enjoy the content and continue doing what you do!

Minor Updates

Naruto Full Episodes Added!

Since yesterday, I had been uploading full episodes of Naruto and it looks like I'm finally done! You will see a total of 200 full episodes of Naruto in MP4 format. Soon, I will add a character information section for this series as well. Once these major udates are complete, I can move on to updating other pages.

Bleach, One Piece, and Naruto are the three major on-going Anime series at this time, so you will find that every section from those three will be updated weekly. This site media is now well over 50+ gigs! Please stay tuned for further updates!

Naruto Plot Summary Added

Naruto has been added in the plot summaries section, which was supposed to be the basic part of the series' overall content. Next, Naruto's episodes list is to be added within the next two days. Naruto's full episodes will take some time, as it is an ongoing Anime series, such as One Piece and Bleach. However, please keep a reminder that Naruto Naruto Shippuden is will definitely NOT be added anytime soon. There is too much to be done with the site, so I believe I will put up Naruto episodes 1 - 200 for now.

One Piece Episode List Extended

The two next episodes to be released for One Piece are now revealed:

421 - "The Friends' Whereabouts - The Negative Princess and the Devil King!""Nakama-tachi no Yukue - Negatibu Ōjo to Akumaō!" (仲間達の行方！ネガティブ王女と悪魔王！)
422 - "A Life-threatening Break-in! Breaking Into the Underwater Prison Impel Down!""Kesshi no Sennyū! Kaitei Kangoku Inperu Daun Sennyū!" (決死の潜入！海底監獄インペルダウン潜入！)

It looks as if the friends' whereabouts are to be over after the upcoming episode and then Luffy will finally be able to reach his destination: Impel Down! If you've been reading the Manga, however, you probably know about what's going to happen in the next lot of episodes. That's expected from One Piece Manga, since its really ahead of the series episodes. I'm looking forward to the action that is going to take place at Impel Down, especially Whitebeard's invasion.

For All New Webmasters

I have added a special section for webmasters, starting with a way to increase site traffic or unique hits. You will see similar strategies on other websites as well, but I decided to write my own article-based and informative way to guide new webmasters in driving traffic into their site.

The webmasters section will soon consist of other tools that will prove quite useful. I have gotten many E-mails from my visitors asking for scripts that I have been utilizing on this site. I came to the idea that I should have a special segment of the site devoted to webmasters seeking scripts to use for their site. Please check back later for further updates on webmaster tools!

Downloads To Be Kept Active & News Archive Added

Please disregard the last update that was posted in the news section. It seems that there were no actual problems pertaining to the media and the downloads will still be available. With the occurrence of these unfortunate circumstances, full episodes of Naruto will be pushed back furthermore. I cannot guarantee that they will be up soon, as I am busy with other things.

I have finally added a news archive to the site. The main page was starting to look a bit complex and I preferred doing this so that incoming visitors don't experience unnecessary delays upon loading the page.

It's been about a good week since the last update! Sometime during the next week, I will most likely start adding the frequently requested Anime series, Naruto, starting with the plot summary. Then, I will start the character information section followed by the breadth of the content: full episodes.

I'm quite busy with a lot of other things at the time. If, for any reason, the content gets a two to three day delay, please be patient and check back again soon. Until the next update, farewell!

CowBoy Bebop Added! Addition Of Naturo?

Finally, Cowboy Bebop has been added in the Full Episodes section. I was thinking of adding Naruto, but not exactly soon. I noticed numerous visitors had suggested the addition of Naruto when they wrote me E-mails. I replied "Yes, I will consider it adding it in the future, but not anytime soon." Since there are many fans of Naruto, probably just as many as there are One Piece and Bleach, I thought of adding it for sure. I wouldn't say the full episodes of Naruto will be up soon, because I'd rather add its character information, plot summary, and other text based information first. Then I'll focus on adding the root of its media, because that is the portion that will take the longest of time. However, if you want a specific date for Naruto to be added, feel free to contact me for details.

Web submission has been at a halt recently, due to other updates and my track of time. To make up for this, I will have to focus strictly on site promotion once again for the next couple updates.

Rurouni Kenshin Full Episodes Up

All of Rurouni Kenshin episodes were up since last night, as promised. This marks a new record for the total space used for all the media provided on this site: A Whopping 40+ Gigs!

During the next update, you should expect Cowboy Bebop to be up. Stay tuned!

Addition Of Another Series

Full episodes of Rurouni Kenshin will be up by the end of tomorrow! I have uploaded all 95 of them in the last 2 days. This only leaves one left: Cowboy Bebop.

I have been extremely busy due to work from school, so that's why updates have been decreased in the last 2 weeks. However, I will always make sure everything is running on the site and perform maintenance tasks whenever necessary. Stay tuned for Rurouni Kenshin episodes to be up tomorrow!

Caught Up On Site Submission & Your Keywords

During last night, I noticed that the site I primarily use for directory site submissions was actually back to normal. I used that opportunity to do three days worth of promotion in order for me to get caught up with everything.

I've been monitoring from the site stats and it looks as if quite a number of you are being directed to this site from search engines. It's interesting that most of you arrive here by looking for Samurai Champloo and One Piece soundtracks! I find it to be amazing that Anime Extent shows up to be in the top five when searching for specific and relevant songs from Anime soundtracks! As a matter of fact, most of you will benefit from this a bit more if you narrow it down to a certain song. That way, Google, Yahoo, or whichever search engine you prefer will bring you exact results by listing the direct page from this site, rather than simply the main page. Anyway, keep it coming and enjoy the media!

Ongoing Site Submission

This week isn't too big on updates, which could linger on for quite some time. I'm still continuing site promotion, however, the website I am using for this process isn't too user-friendly at all. Most of the problems start when their server is down, which is happening a lot more recently.

Anyway, during this time of halt on site updates, feel free to contact me for further information. You might be looking forward to more content or multimedia and perhaps be wondering when it'll be up. Even though I'm quite busy with other things, I keep time to respond to my visitors.

Added Character Information For Rurouni Kenshin & Cowboy Bebop

All content that is "text-only" can now be marked as finished for Rurouni Kenshin and Cowboy Bebop. The only parts that are left fall down to full episodes, Manga, and soundtracks for those two newly added series. As I said earlier, that shall be done around the beginning of October. For now, it's time again to further site submission. For the rest of this week, these will most likely be the only updates.

Episode Lists & Plot Summaries Added For Rurouni Kenshin & Cowboy Bebop

Information such as Episode Lists & Plot Summaries is always easily available, so those sections have been updated with Rurouni Kenshin and Cowboy Bebop. Next, I'll work on Character Information for both of those series. As for full episodes of both of these newly added series, it won't happen until the next time I Re-upload ALL media for this site, which will be during sometime around the starting of October.

As time progresses, the number of visitors increases more and more! I've also noticed I'm receiving more E-mails from visitors through the feedback form on this site. Therefore, I have set up a domain name E-mail account.

Forthcoming Anime Series

Anyone see Bleach episode 233 last night? It was amazing! The Zanpakuto arc has started out pretty strong and its only getting better and better as it progresses. It was nice seeing Zangetsu fight Ichigo again, but what was more interesting was seeing Ichigo in his hollow form as Shirosaki! Also, seeing Zangetsu use Getsuga Tenshou was pretty amazing, even though Shirosaki owned him in the end.

Anyway, I'd like to discuss two more series I'll be adding to this site. Rurouni Kenshin and Cowboy Bebop are coming soon here at Anime Extent! It will take a while for me to upload all those episodes, since my college semester is starting soon. Its the end of summer! I may either add both series during my next reupload of ALL media, which is scheduled during the beginning of October. If I cannot do it during that time period, then I will most definitely do it during December. However, you can expect their plot summaries, character information, and episode lists to be up and running very soon!

Site Search Script Added

I finally decide to go ahead and add the site search feature. I've changed its formatting as much as I could, but there are still certain lines I'm not sure about in the script. Once I get more familiar with CGI & Perl, however, I'll be able to get around it easily. Its specialty is that it not only searches the text or content from every page on the site, but it looks through the META tags as well. Considering that every page has the same exact META tags, however, it doesn't really matter.

I'm waiting for Bleach episode 233 [Subbed version] to be up online! I'm well aware most sites have the Raw version, but I'd rather wait until I can see the understandable version! I really believe in the theory that Muramasa is Kenpachi's Zanpakuto, as a lot of people do. In addition to the fight between Zangetsu & Ichigo, I hope they reveal a bit more information on Muramasa!

Error Page & A Big Thanks To CGI

I'm really glad this host allows me to use CGI and PERL. I've started to make use of it already! It's kind of funny I would ask you to do this, but check out the 404 & 403 Error Pages I've designed! ... Or, I should rather say, just type in a random page after typing in this website's URL. Instead of getting that ridiculous, nasty page saying "This URL cannot be found", you'll get a special page I've designed for just that. Thank you CGI!

I'm editing a Site Search feature for this web site, because it's about time I let visitors search for what they want here. I'm afraid it searches through META Tags more than just straight text from all the pages it comes across. So when you see the results, it will show you a bit more information than you need to see. I hope this doesn't confuse people though. Anyway, that should be available on the navigation menu soon. I'm more psyched to see that Bleach episode tomorrow more than anything!

New Web Host!

I've changed my web host! The previous one had been encountering WAY too many downtimes in the last 48 hours. However, the last 6 hours might have been because of the DNS name server changes. The good thing about this host is that it supports CGI and SSI, which is what I had been looking for a long time ago. But since I've already gotten the site running with PHP, there is no point in using SSI for now.

I'm closely tracking this site's uptimes and downtimes now more than ever. I've signed up for a service that does exactly that. Anyway, this is all for updates at the time.

Character Information Added

You can see that I've added A Character Information section for Each Anime series. Using Wikipedia as the primary source, this detailed information has been provided to you! I also gave credit on each and every page in which I made use of this outside source, because I know how hard they must've worked to get their information on these Anime series

Site submission is still in phase and growing! I haven't spent a single cent on site promotion and don't plan on it until further notice. Even though this site is somewhat new, I'm already getting a decent amount of unique hits due to the content I provide to visitors and Anime fans. How do I know? The site statistics report shows me detailed information such as what visitors types as keywords when they search for this site. I am also able to see which site they were redirected from before arriving to this domain.Until the next update, hasta la vista!

Site Navigation Menu Changed & Plot Summaries Added

In the last 15 to 30 minutes, you may have noticed a few broken links from some of the links from the nagivation menu. This was due to a few changes I was working on during that specific time. You can now see a lengthier menu on the left than before. Now, it'll be easier for visitors to navigate through the site, now that everything has been broken down!

Plot summaries have been added Bleach, One Piece, Death Note and Samurai Champloo. This is a good way to give Anime fans an overview on Anime series they haven't gotten into yet. Anyway, my next step is to start a Character Information section for each of the Anime series featured on this web site to further expand this site. So until that update is done, I hope you enjoy your stay here!

Soundtracks & Manga Added For Death Note & Samurai Champloo

The only two Anime series that were missing from the Manga & Soundtracks section have been added! Samurai Champloo and Death note both had the most number of soundtracks, which were the hardest parts. But they also had the least number of Manga volumes or chapters, so that part was pretty easy.

For the next couple days, until further notice, I need to work on more site submission. Also, I will be making site & media back-ups. Anyway, it'll take some time for these things to get done. Until then, enjoy your stay here and look out for more updates!

Episodes List Added For Death Note & Samurai Champloo

An additional two more Anime series have been added in the Episodes List section: Death Note and Samurai Champloo. Since these four are the only Anime series that this site offers at the time, this will be it for now in the Episodes List.

Soundtracks for Death Note & One Piece will be added in the next update! Uploading all that will take some time, but I'll try to have it up and running by the end of tomorrow!

As you may have noticed, I've added the episode listings section for Anime series. Bleach and One Piece have been added, as they are the primary series that are getting airtime out there. Tomorrow, I will have added episode lists for Samurai Champloo and Death Note.

From the stats, I've noticed the number of visitors at Anime Extent are increasing daily. Also, if you try searching for Anime Extent at any search engine, you will definitely find it there! I've also added the site to directories and there is A LOT of submission and web promotion I've left to do. Anyway, enjoy your stay here!

Manga Updates & Site Downtime

First of all, I'd like to point out that Manga downloads for Bleach & One Piece are up and running! You'll see that I had to divide up the big RAR files into seperate archives in order to reduce their file sizies. Otherwise, I would have ended up making you guys download them from one big file consisting of over 1 - 2 gigs!

There were frequent, long downtimes from the server in the last 24 hours. I just hope this doesn't occur a lot, because I don't want to have to change web hosts again. Hopefully, that was just a temporary measure and my web host really was having a hard time to get back into full uptime. Anyway, if that were to happen again simultaneously, I aplogize and will do something about it!

All Bleach & Samurai Champloo Soundtracks Added!

It looks like another successful, huge update! All soundtracks [3] for Bleach and Samurai Champloo [5] have been added. Samurai Champloo albums consist of Departure, Impression, Masta, Midicronica (# 501), and Playlist.

I am currently working on Manga downloads for Bleach and One Piece, which are both well over 3 GB! You will find them both up-to-date with all recent volumes and chapters. Because they are both large files to download, I seperated them into different parts (archives) that are roughly 200 - 300 MB each. Anyway, these Manga downloads shall be available to download by tomorrow!

One Piece Episodes 101 - 200 Added!

A hundred more One Piece episodes have been added today, which makes it a total of 200! The next time I add them will be in a about a month or so, because by then it'll be time for all the other links to expire. That means I'll have to re-upload all types of media near the end of next month.

I've added a FAQ page, which will be beneficial to anyone with specific questions regarding this site. I'd say the majority of the questions you'd have in mind are answered there, so please be sure to check it out before sending any inquiries to me. But of course, if you feel your questions are unanswered there, please send me a message via the Contact page.

Full episodes are now at a halt until further notice! I need to put up other media and spend time on more features on this site. Can you believe that so far, the full episodes are taking up more than 20 gigs?!

One Piece Full Episodes Added 1-100

One Piece has been added to the Full Episodes section. By tomorrow I will have added another 100, which will make it a total of 200 One Piece episodes. I believe I said I was only going to actually upload up to 400, but I've reconsidered. After I get to 200, I'm going to set up other pages on this site, such as adding Anime soundtracks.

Since Anime Extent is now a domain name, I had to modify a few things in my PHP scripts. But everything was running smooth right after I modified the DNS name servers. I'm sure incoming traffic will increase soon, now that I've added meta tags on each page and have submitted the site to major search engines. From looking at the web statisics, I've noticed a number of web crawling bots have visit the site a few times. It will take a few days for the site to get fully indexed!

Added 5 More Gigs Of Bleach!

I thought it was going to take the entire rest of the week to finish uploading the rest of the Bleach episodes, but I went ahead and just did it today. Today is going to be a new record, with a whopping addition of 121 Bleach episodes! Anyway, Bleach is currently at Episode 230 from their usual air times in Japan. I'm thinking it'd be better if I upload more Bleach episodes when the air time schedule reaches 250.

My next goal is One Piece! It'll prolly take twice the amount of time, since I'm actually thinking about uploading episodes up to 400. But after One Piece has fully been uploaded, I'm going to halt uploading any more Anime series for a while. I want to make sure I put up some soundtracks and other media too. That way, by the time I register the domain name and submit this web site to a couple search engines, a little bit of each type of media is available to the public.

Samurai Champloo Full Episodes Added

As I said yesterday, I have uploaded and put up all the Samurai Champloo episodes. It wasn't that much of a biggie, since the series has no more than 26 episodes. It's too bad they ended the series so soon...

Anyway, I'm back to uploading more Bleach episodes again. I'll upload up to 200 by the end of this week and stop there for a while, since the Bleach series is currently STILL running with new episodes. But that isn't a bad thing at all! Personally, I think people complain too much about Bleach have a lot of fillers ever since the Bount Arc. But I mean, think about it... If the series is going so well with its popular demand, of course the producer will do all they can to keep it running for easy money. Anyway, finishing up towards uploading the rest of the Bleach episodes will be quite the toughie. Then, I'll get to working on One Piece, which is a whole different story. Bleach Episodes being over 200 currently don't compare to One Piece having over 400!

Bleach & Death Note Full Episodes Added

I've already uploaded a total of 79 full episodes of Bleach and ALL the episodes of Death Note! After a few more updates on the site, I will officially register it as a domain name. I wanted to spend these first few days making adjustments to the layout if necessary or make major updates before I actually decide to buy a domain.

I'm currently working on adding Samurai Champloo in the Full Episodes section. Many more Anime series will be added soon, from the most popular demand to the lowest. Personally, I decided to upload full episodes of Bleach first, since it is currently my favorite. Then after Samurai Champloo has been uploaded, I want to pursue in adding One Piece, which will take the most of my time. It has over 400 episodes and it is STILL going! Anyway, Samurai Champloo shall be uploaded and up running on the site by the end of tomorrow.

Change Of Host & More Updates

I had to change the web host yesterday, which was definitely necessary! The last host had major server problems and uploading files was a drag. Their FTP server wasn't user-friendly at all and there were too many broken connections along the way. Anyway, this new one is pretty decent!

I did more updates yesterday than I've done all week! In the "Main" part of the navigation menu on the left, you will see no more dead links. If you have any questions or comments about the site so far, please visit the Contact page. Once you are there, you can fill out a form, which I've designed through a PHP script.

Welcome to Anime Extent! Everything is moving along quickly and is actually taking up less of my time that I expected. I've already uploaded almost 80 Bleach episodes on Megaupload, which isn't a bad storage service at all. The only side effect with using Megaupload is that the files will get deleted if nobody has downloaded them or they are inactive for 90 days (3 months). However, it's the best thing out there on the net for storing and hosting large files, because others such as Mediafire and Rapidshare have more limits on their policies.

There's more on updates. I have cancelled my decision on making the blog service my default means of posting news and updates regarding the site. I decided to do some research on PHP scripts online and bumped into phpFastNews. This is a decent, yet simple choice for posting site updates. It won't hurt to use this until I get my hands on a more professional script. Besides, this thing doesn't have any forced ads!

Lastly, I've decided to use PHP with this website. This host doesn't support SSI at all, which means you can't use Server-Side Includes to embed one webpage into another. So the only workaround for this was to switch from all HTML to a mixture of PHP. After that, it was smooth sailing.

This site won't have visitors right now. But if there is a small likelihood of that happening, please don't get scared from the unfinished parts of this site!
